Tobias Castagna appointed Head of testing experts at the NTC
With start-up financing from the Canton of Zug, the expansion of the National Test Institute for Cybersecurity (NTC) enters the next stage. The NTC tests the cybersecurity of digital products and networked infrastructures. The Test Institute thus takes on an important role in efforts to strengthen Switzerland’s cybersecurity and its independence. In Tobias Castagna, the NTC has hired a cybersecurity expert who will be responsible for the development and management of the testing experts. A permanent pool of around 30 cybersecurity specialists is to be established by 2025.
Workforce expansion at the National Test Institute for Cybersecurity NTC
Most recently, Tobias Castagna was a member of the Executive Board as well as Head of Red Teaming and Penetration Testing at the Swiss provider of security services Oneconsult. Tobias made a decisive contribution to developing this company from a start-up to a leading cybersecurity company with around 70 employees over four locations. As head of the NTC testing experts, Tobias will bring this special experience to bear, in order to build and expand a qualified testing team with highly skilled cybersecurity testing experts. He will also be responsible for the initiation, planning and management of the NTC’s customer projects.
Experienced cybersecurity experts, penetration testers and ethical hackers now have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and thus to contribute to the expansion of the NTC.

Location search for the National Test Institute for Cybersecurity NTC
The NTC is looking for a suitable location in the Canton of Zug. The premises must meet the high technological requirements of a modern testing institute and ensure opportunities for further expansion to around 30 workspaces. The NTC will offer its highly qualified employees walking proximity to a railway station with Iintercity connections, sufficient parking spaces and access to modern and vibrant surroundings.
